MBHTE-TESD receives new male dormitory, advanced training gear from Japan

?SULTAN KUDARAT, Maguindanao del Norte — The Bangsamoro Government’s Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education – Technical Education and Skills Development (MBHTE-TESD) officially accepted a newly constructed male dormitory and state-of-the-art training equipment during a turnover ceremony held on Monday at the Regional Manpower Development Center (RMDC).
The project was funded by the Government of Japan through its Grant Assistance program, in partnership with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

?According to the MBHTE, the new dormitory aims to provide safe and conducive lodging for trainees, while the modern equipment is set to bolster the implementation of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs at the RMDC.

?Officials noted that these facilities will significantly enhance the competencies of students in industries requiring specialized skills and broaden access to quality technical education across the Bangsamoro region.

?This initiative is part of the Bangsamoro Government's ongoing commitment to promoting inclusive education, strengthening workforce development, and supporting long-term peace and progress in the region.
