MBHTE distributes Ramadan aid to employees in BARMM

A total of 1,108 regular and contract of service employees each received two 25-kilogram sacks of rice and a grocery bag filled with essential items to help ease the financial burden during the holy month.
The grocery packages contained a generous assortment of goods, including cooking oil, soy sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup, 3-in-1 coffee, native coffee, brown sugar, powdered milk, powdered juice, sotanghon noodles, powdered chocolate malt drink, elbow macaroni, fruit cocktail, cheese, condensed milk, kaong, nata de coco, sandwich spread, food seasoning, all-purpose cream, garlic, onion, dried fish, and even two plastic laundry baskets.
Minister Mohagher M. Iqbal expressed his appreciation for the initiative, especially during the month of Ramadan.
"I am happy that we have a program like this, and I am grateful to the people who were instrumental in making this program successful," Iqbal said.
Recognizing Ramadan as a time devoted to fasting and reflection, the MBHTE sought to give back to its employees in a meaningful way. By providing these groceries annually, the MBHTE aims to help make Ramadan a little easier and more joyful for its employees and their families.
The MBHTE emphasized that the distribution serves as a simple yet heartfelt reminder of the importance of supporting one another, especially during this significant time of year.
