MENRE, DOE assure stable fuel supply amid Middle East developments

MENRE joined the DOE in reassuring the Bangsamoro people that there are currently no disruptions to petroleum supplies in the region. Fuel inventories and distribution networks remain fully operational, with appropriate measures in place to address potential effects on domestic fuel prices.
To help ease the impact of fuel price fluctuations on the transport sector, the Pantawid Pasada Program continues its implementation under a Memorandum of Agreement. Led by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) through the Bangsamoro Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (BLTFRB), the program operates in partnership with MENRE and the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP). It serves as a vital support system for public utility drivers throughout BARMM.
MENRE emphasized its ongoing coordination with the DOE and other stakeholders to closely monitor developments. The ministry assured the public that it will provide timely information and access to assistance programs as needed.
