MBHTE Minister Iqbal extends Eid’l Fitr greetings, emphasizes, education, unity

COTABATO CITY – Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) Minister Hon. Mohagher M. Iqbal has extended warm Eid’l Fitr greetings to all Bangsamoro people and Muslim brothers and sisters worldwide as communities mark the end of the holy month of Ramadhan.

In his official Eid message, Iqbal, who concurrently serves as Member of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament, said the conclusion of Ramadhan serves as a reminder of the values of faith, discipline, hard work, and care for others – principles that should be practiced daily and in all efforts for the community.

“The end of the Month of Ramadhan reminds us of the lessons of faith, discipline, striving, and care for our neighbors. We must embody these values every day and in the work we do for our community,” Iqbal stated.

He emphasized that Eid’l Fitr is a time to give thanks to Allah for the strength and guidance provided during the days of fasting, as well as an opportunity to strengthen bonds among families, communities, and the entire nation while advancing peace, unity, and progress in the Bangsamoro region.

“As a ministry shaping the future of our youth, we remain steadfastly committed to providing quality, inclusive, and meaningful education that develops not only intellect, but also good character and values,” Iqbal said.

He concluded his message with a prayer that the blessed occasion brings peace to hearts, unity to communities, and renewed hope for a better, more peaceful, and prosperous future for the Bangsamoro.

“Eid Mubarak to all of you,” he added.
