ACBW, USMMEAA conduct Peace Advocacy Program

With the theme: “Bangsamoro: Mamagayun, Masampay su Kahanda”, the Alliance of Concerned Bangsamoro Women for Peace and Development and University of Southern Mindanao  Muslim Employees and Alumni Association (USMMEAA) conducted a one-day program dubbed as “ Advocacy on Just, Peace and Inclusive Development” on April 23, 2016 at Cafe’ Martina, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.

The activity became more informative as two of the known Bangsamoro advocate on peace and development served as the resource speakers.

Mohagher Iqbal, MILF Peace panel chair and also Chairman of the Bangsamoro Transition Commission (BTC) centered his speech on the updates on the peace process, while Prof. Aboud Sayyed M. Lingga, a member of the MILF Peace panel talked about Bangsamoro Issues and Concerns.

More than two hundred individuals from different sectors actively participated in the activity. 

The advocacy program aimed to promote awareness and understanding on the Bangsamoro struggle towards the attainment of just, peace and inclusive development in the Bangsamoro region.
