UBJP SecGen Organizes Core Secretariat

Cotabato City – After a tedious and months of hardwork on the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL), now called Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) recently signed by President Rodrigo Duterte, the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) through its Secretary General Sammy Al Mansour has finally organized its Core Secretariat in order to strengthen its structure and organization.

The UBJP Core Secretariat underwent Seminar-Write Shop on Basic Communications at EM Manor Hotel from July 30 to August 01, 2018.

The activity was held in partnership with the Bangsamoro Study Group (BSG) and funded by the United  Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

"Your role as Regional Secretariat is very vital, particularly in the operation of the UBJP, and I hope that this will materialized," said Al-Mansour.

"I would like to extend my gratitude to UNDP for its support thru BSG," he added.

Atty. Raissa H. Jajurie, BSG Executive Director disclosed that the UNDP commitment is to accompany the peace process thru development projects.

One of the resource persons, Prof. Abhoud Syed Lingga, member of the MILF Peace Implementing Panel urged the participants to work hard and ensure the victory of the UBJP candidates during elections.

"As UBJP Secretariat you should digest well the entire content of the BOL," Prof. Lingga said.

For his part, Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo, UBJP Deputy Secretary General said that the party needs to be bigger and more inclusive to ensure its win in election.

Atty. Parido Pigkaulan discussed the organizational structure of the UBJP, a principled political party.

Some participants from island provinces, Lanao and Davao regions has been biletted at Em-Manor Hotel & Restaurant in Cotabato City since July 28 as they attended the Bangsamoro Consultative Assembly in Camp Darapanan, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao organized by the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
