GPH-MILF Peace Implementing Panel hold 14th Meeting in CDO

The GPH-MILF Peace Implementing Panels held yesterday their 14th Meeting at Mariannes Suites, Cagayan de Oro City. The two peace panels were headed by their respective Chairmen Usec Nabil Tan and Mohagher Iqbal.

In his opening statements, Usec Tan made mention September being the Peace Month, also means that everyday is a peace day.

Chair Iqbal recalled that it was in Cagayan de Oro where the signing of the Agreement on the Cessation of Hostilities was held.

Included in the agenda were the issues and concerns in the implementation stages of different peace mechanisms, and its updates. The registration of voters was also part of the agenda.

It was a long day, but very fruitful meeting of the peace advocates.
