COMELEC Sets Special Registration for Bangsamoro for Upcoming Plebiscite

Cotabato City- The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has finally set the special registration for MILF members and the Bangsamoro from September 11-13, 2018 for the plebiscite to ratify R. A. No. 11054, also known as Organic Law for Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (OLBARMM). The plebiscite is slated on January 21, 2018, in areas covered by the ARMM, 6 Municipalities in Lanao del Norte, 39 Barangays in North Cotabato, Cotabato City, and Isabela City in Basilan. 

For this purpose, the COMELEC has also assigned teams who are in charged of the conduct of the special satellite registration in the venues indicated below. 

Registrants are advised to bring with them at least one (1) valid ID to be allowed to register.

Other identification cards (ID) that are accepted include the following: GSIS ID, SSS ID, Driver’s License, PRC License, Passport, Senior Citizen ID, School ID, Office ID, among others. In the absence thereof, a birth certificate is also accepted
