MBHTE distribution of IMs to schools in BARMM goes on

COTABATO CITY/August 27 – The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) on Monday, Aug. 24, distributed hundreds of instructional materials (IMs) to the Capiton Elementary School in Barangay Capiton, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.
“Education is one of the priorities of the Bangsamoro Government,” MBHTE Minister Mohagher Iqbal said,

“In the MBHTE, we exert efforts in pushing for the education of our Bangsamoro leaners despite the COVID – 19 pandemic,” Iqbal said further.
Capiton Elementary School has three one-storey buildings, three occupiable classrooms, and a covered court. 

The school recorded a total number of 130 enrollees as of July 15 this year.

Aside from Iqbal, other officials present during the turnover of the instructional materials were MBHTE Deputy Minister Haron Meling, Maguindanao II Division Acting Schools Division Superintendent Alma Abdula-Nor, and Capiton Elementary School Teacher-In-Charge Marlyn Sinsuat. 

On Aug. 7, the MBHTE distributed 3000 instructional materials to the Nuling National High School in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao.
"Every money (that) we spend on education is not an expense but an investment to our children," Iqbal said during a brief ceremony.
