A Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) combatant and farmer leader in Datu Unsay, Maguindanao, expressed willingness to share his success in agricultural production to help fellow farmers in the province, a report posted at the Facebook page of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR)-Maguindanao said.
Mohaliden Ali Ebrahim, a 33 year old MILF combatant and farmer, signified his interest that his farm where he produces vegetables and small chili pepper cultivar popularly known locally as Siling Labuyo to become Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) in the Province of Maguindanao.

He is looking forward that his intent will be realized through the help of Agricultural Training Institute-RTC12 managed by Director Abdul I. Daya-an and MAFAR-Maguindanao.

Ebrahim has 6,000 hills of Siling Labuyo. His produce is processed and sold at low price through the Labuyo Farmers and Marketing Cooperative.

According to the ATI, the LSA is a farm practicing applicable agricultural technologies, employing doable farming strategies and operating successfully, thus, worthy of emulation.

The learning site will serve as model to showcase applicable agriculture technologies and agri-products/by-products processing technologies where interested farmers shall learn thus helping them to improve their capabilities.

A farm that passes the requirements to become LSA will be issued certificate by ATI
