MBHTE-BARMM hires 900 new mentors for School Year 2022-2023 face-to-face classes

COTABATO CITY – The Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MBHTE-BARMM) is hiring 900 new teachers across the BARMM in anticipation of the opening of the face-to-face (F2F) classes next school year.
MBHTE Minister Mohagher Iqbal said “we are hiring and this is urgent because of the anticipated opening of the face-to-face (F2F) classes for the School Year 2022-2023.”
Iqbal said “Maguindanao needs more or less 400 new teachers. while Sulu needs 500 new teachers.”
He said “the MBHTE is prepared and foremost in this preparation are health protocols to ensure (that) our school children are safe from COVID-19.”
The MBHTE expects some 600,000 new enrollees for School Year 2022-2023.
The Department of Education (DepEd) announced on July 12 that classes for School Year 2022-2023 will start on Aug. 22, 2022 and will end on July 7, 2023.
