Muslim and Christian constituents of General Santos City sent relief goods to the victims of Typhoon Paeng in Maguindanao on November 5-6, 2022 in their will to help those who are suffering due to natural calamity.
A truckload of relief items comprised of rice, drinking water, biscuits, groceries, and used clothes, was gathered by the City Mayor’s Office Integrated Cultural Communities Affairs Division (CMO-ICCAD), the unit of the local government of the city that provides services to the indigenous cultural communities.

CMO-ICCAD staff Yousuff Abulhamid and JV Aligado handed over the relief goods to the constituents of Barangays Kusiong, Badak, Dimapatoy, Quarry and Tapian of the municipality of Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao together.

Moro singer Datu Khomeni with his team provided vehicle to transport the relief goods. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to those who provided them help and hoped that benevolent individuals will continue to help them while they have not yet recovered from calamity.

“We are thankful to the different Muslim and non-Muslim organizations and generous individuals who shared their resources to help typhoon victims who are now in dire need,” she said.
