“Do not underestimate the president”- Governor Macacua

This was due to his appointment as Governor of Maguindanao del Norte because Maguindanao del Norte is said to be a small matter compared to the big concerns that President Marcos Jr. is taking care of, to belittle the decision that he is the designated OIC Governor of the province. "My only appeal to anyone is to not underestimate the President, we have to support them, we have to give them our all-out support in order to reinforce his credibility, dignity in the international community," said Macacua.
Marcos, Jr. is not just paying attention to Maguindanao but also other parts of the country and even the whole world, including China, the US and the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA), the Governor added.
He added that he should not be underestimated, refuting allegations that money was given to some members of the president's cabinet to work for his appointment as a Governor.
His response to the allegations and news circulating that he gave money worth ?5.3 billion is impossible because they have no source of this amount in the BARMM. The truth is, sometimes when they go to Malacañan they are the ones (cabinet members) who give money for our transportation.
He said that people should not make such accusations because Maguindanao del Norte is too small to lose its respect for President Marcos Jr.. If those who are making such accusations want to be clarified, they are ready to respond should a petition is filed in court.
He added that it is still the month of Ramadhan, the month of forgiveness and unity and Allah said in the holy Qur'an that "All Muslims are brothers", so it is our duty not to break the brotherhood or sisterhood because of politics, position, anger, and worldly things.
