‘Von Al Haq’ sworn in as BARMM Senior Minister

COTABATO CITY – Chief Minister Ahod ‘Al Haj Murad’ Ebrahim of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) administered on Monday the oath-taking of the newly appointed Senior Minister Abunawas ‘Von Al Haq’ Maslamama in a simple but fitting ceremony held at the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM), Bangsamoro Government Center (BGC), this city.
The oath-taking was witnessed by Deputy Senior Minister Abdullah ‘Dong’ Cusain, other BARMM officials, and some media personalities.

Maslamama thanked Ebrahim and other officials of the Government of the Day for entrusting to him the position of the Senior Minister.

“Rest assured that I will work properly, progressively, and fruitfully within the dictates of my mandates,” Maslamama said.

“I am reiterating that I will perform my duties and responsibilities to the best of my abilities within the ambit of the Chief Minister’s directives,” he said.  

Maslamama earlier served as deputy minister of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications and, later, that of the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government.

He also used to be the spokesperson of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF), the military arm of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
