“We must support the enactment of BBL by Congress”—Abdula

Abdula emphasized that the leveling off understanding of the Mindanao peace process is one way of supporting the urgent enactment of the BBL BTC Version.

“Enacting the BBL will address the Moro Historical Injustices”, Abdula said.

“The BBL is a political document signed between the Philippine Government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front to end decade-long Mindanao armed conflict and achieve lasting peace in the region”, Abdula added.

Abdula said the MILF affirms that a negotiated political settlement is the key to lasting peace in Mindanao.

Abdula further said “Moro legitimate struggle is aimed towards establishing Bangsamoro political entity.”
