MSSD-BARMM issues public notice for Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program Beneficiaries

“The cards shall be released to qualified 4Ps members without any required fees,” the notice said.
The agency urged the public to report any irregularities in the processing of the LBP EMV Cash Card to the Ministry’s Facebook Page or through its mobile phone number 0936-216-9942.
“Please do not be afraid to report any anomalies to MSSD,” the MSSD issuance said.
“MSSD workers, 4Ps parent leaders, and LGU officials are not authorized to remove active and eligible beneficiaries from the program,” warned the MSSD.
According to the notice, the MSSD will not tolerate any of its staff that will be involved in collection of payment.
The Philippine Government said in its official gazette that 4Ps is a human development measure of the national government that provides conditional cash grants to the poorest of the poor, to improve the health, nutrition, and the education of children aged 0-18.
The program is patterned after the conditional cash transfer (CCT) schemes in Latin American and African countries, which have lifted millions of people around the world from poverty.
