BARMM legislators approve Bangsamoro Administrative Code

None of the 58 members present physically and on-line voted against the Cabinet Bill No. 60 entitled “An act providing for the Bangsamoro Administrative Code and for other related purposes.”

BTA Majority Leader Atty. Lanang Ali, Jr. said earlier that the Bangsamoro Administrative Code is an important step in the stage of implementing the very important part of the peace agreement.

He added the legislation is for the Bangsamoro people and for the goodness and success of the Bangsamoro government. 

BARMM Chief Minister Ahod “Murad” Ebrahim expressed his gratitude to fellow BTA members for the historic approval of the Bangsamoro Administrative Code.

The said code was passed after consultations with various sectors of society from the five provinces and two cities of the Bangsamoro Region last August.
