‘The youth play a vital role in nation-building’ - Bangsamoro Chief Minister

Bangsamoro Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim, Al Haj, said in his video message during the State of the Bangsamoro Youth Address 2021 that the youth play a vitla role in nation-building on Thursday (August 12) at Shariff Kabungsuan Cultural Complex in Cotabato City.

“From simple gestures of organizing of various projects and initiatives to participating in government programs to most importantly helping our cause in reforming the Bangsamoro, the youth has always been there,” he disclosed.

The chief minister said the SOBYA gave an opportunity to understand where the Bangsamoro youth are today and how the government of the day can play a role in harnessing the potnetials and providing them with the opportunities for the professional and personal growth.

“The next generations of the Bangsamoro are essential in finding solutions to some of the biggest challenges we face today and perhaps the Bangsamoro Government will always be committed in pushing programs and policies that will enable the youth to become what they aspire to be and alter the future of the Bangsamor for the better, in shaa Allah,” he underscored.

He congratulated the Bangsamoro Youth Commission led by Chairman and Member of the Parliament Marjanie S. Mimbantas Macasalong for their hardwork in championing the cause of the youth.

The event which was in celebration of International Youth Day was attended by representatives of Moro youth organizations and officials of the Bangsamoro government.
