MOH-BARMM receives P9.6-M in medical equipment from US embassy

Dr. Zul Qarneyn Abas, MOH-BARMM Deputy Health Minister, received the contributions on behalf of Health Minister Dr. Kadil Sinolinding Jr. during a ceremony at the ministry’s regional office.

In a statement released Thursday, Abas expressed deep appreciation for the ongoing partnership between BARMM and the US Embassy, noting that it continues to support the development of healthier, safer, and more resilient communities across the region.

“These life-saving resources are to be delivered to nine public hospitals serving communities across the region to strengthen the capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to health threats, ensuring that critical services reach those who need them most,” Abas said.

The donation includes biomedical tools, laboratory equipment, and oxygen-related supplies designed to enhance the region’s healthcare capabilities.

Abas extended his sincere thanks to the US government for providing the essential equipment to bolster BARMM’s health security initiatives.
