UBJP Tawi-Tawi- Chapter holds Info-Drive and Dialogue on BOL with Tandubas LGU

TANDUBAS TAWI-TAWI- United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) held information drive on Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL), and dialogue with local officials of Tandubas on January 9, 2018.

The dialogue was held at the residence Vice Mayor Saida A. Maing at Barangay Kakoong, Ungus Matata Tandubas

Where she cordially welcomed the delegation of UBJP Officials and its entourage. 

Vice Mayor Maing and officials of UBJP) Tawi-Tawi Chapter, and Tandubas Municipality and Peace Advocates Group headed by Hadji Hasmin Hiya talked about the benefits of the BOL to the people of Tandubas, and Tawi-Tawi province as a whole. 

“I support the ratification of BOL since it is a government program” Vice Mayor Maing said.

Aside from other economic benefits that can be enjoyed by the Bangsamoro people, Vice Mayor Maing also pins hope that the upcoming Bangsamoro Government can deliver sustainable livelihood program for her constituencies.

Mr. Tirso S. Tahir, Officer from Bangsamoro Leadership and Management Institute (BLMI) along with some Officers of the 117th Base Command of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (MILF-BIAF) has been facilitating and assisting peace advocates and UBJP Officials in conducting dialogues and information-drive campaign on BOL in the grassroots communities in Tandubas and other far-flung municipalities and barangays.

Mr. Tahir, who is also a core officer of Tandubas Peace Advocates and UBJP explained succinctly to Vice Mayor Maing the significance of BOL and why the people of Tandubas should cast their “YES VOTE” to BOL. Other significant Issues and concerns of the community were also discussed.

Vice Mayor Maing and his Father Eng. Martin Maing, an Assistant District Engineer are also known in Tandubas Community for their generosity and altruistic in civic activities.

Posters and Tarpaulins calling for support to BOL were posted in various strategic places by stakeholders in Tandubas town, signifying that Tandubas town residents will go for the Yes Vote in the upcoming plebiscite.
