Moro doctor, security aide shot dead inside his clinic in Cotabato City

Cotabato City- A Moro Doctor, Dr. Shahid Sinolinding who is serving as a barrio doctor and his security aide were shot to death today, April 18 inside his clinic located at the 2nd floor of Cotabato Doctors Clinic, along Sinsuat Avenue, Cotabato City.

The victim is younger brother of ARMM Secretary of Department of Health Dr. Kadil Sinolinding, Jr. 

The death of Sinolinding is just over a month after the death of Dr. Dreyfuss Perlas from the hands of an assassin in Lanao Del Norte. The younger Sinolinding is an Opthalmologist by profession.

After the Islamic traditional bathing, wrapping with white cloth, and prayer (Janaazah) were done, Dr. Sinolinding’s body was brought to his hometown in Kabacan, North Cotabato where he will be laid to rest. 

His peers in the DOH, relatives and friends accompanied the Sinolinding family to Kabacan town to see the younger Sinolinding laid to rest.

Many Bangsamoro professionals upon learning of his death offered their sympathies and prayers for the repose of his soul and for the perpetrator to answer for his crime.

Local political and religious leaders condemned the killing of Dr. Sinolinding.
