BONGAO TAWI-TAWI (March 25, 2021) -  A show of support for Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) extension to 2025 was manifested by colleges students from different colleges of Tawi-Tawi during the scholarship orientation and qualifying examinations, Monday, March 22, held at the College Gymnasium of Tawi-Tawi Regional Agricultural College (TRAC) Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

The Office of MP Abdulla A. Ahang who facilitated the scholarship program of the Ministry of Social Service and Development (MSSD) and Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) intended for indigent and deserving students who are currently enrolled in colleges in BongaoTawi-Tawi.

Ms.Arlyn, a  College faculty of TRAC gave an orientation and conducted a qualifying examinations to the limited number of students who want to availed the scholarship program.

One of the students said that any scholarship opportunity offered by BARMM Ministries and its Agencies should be valued and reciprocated by serving the Bangsamoro people after graduating from their respective field of study, gets a job in order to help their family and serve the Bangsamoro society. 

Staff from the Office of MP Ahang, Mr. Gabra Abdurahman and Miss Rafia Ahang assisted the students during the orientation to ensure an orderly process. 

Message of and gratitude and support were expressed by some elders from both Moro fronts who were present during the orientation. They encouraged the students not just to excel in their studies but also participate in peace building  by sustaining the gains of peace the agreement. 

Mr. TirsoTahir, a focal person from the Office of MP Ahang said that there is a need for young and dynamic Bangsamoro Technocrats and Bureaucrats grounded with passion to serve the Bangsamoro people with high level of integrity, efficiency 

The students expressed their profoundest gratitude to BARMM and its implementing ministries and agencies for the opportunity offered to them. They also expressed their gratitude to MP Ahang and his staff for facilitating the program.
